What could it do? The current version is only a wrapper around GPT-3.5-turbo and GPT-4o. As you may understand, GPT-3.5 is available in the free version, but GPT-4.0 is only for paid subscribers. I love to use AI from my favorite messaging app. Fortunately, over 100 active users love to do the same thing. There are already 2 paid subscribers. Let me share some details about the bot.
There is plenty of work to do. I have many plans, for example: support for image processing, shortcuts for fixing grammar errors, support for audio processing, and different AI modes. But the most important thing is that I managed to finish the basic code and the payment system.
The idea to build that bot came to me during spring last year. However, I was too focused on my primary job, which made me busy and caused me to neglect my blog and my projects. Over the last few months, I worked almost every Saturday and finished everything I wanted to.
As a result, I have:
- 1200 users
- 100+ of them are active and use Chatty Robo at least once per day
- 2 paid subscribers
I guess that is a good result. The only downside is that I didn’t do anything with my bot for such a long time.
